What the [BLEEP] Are We Doing?

What the [BLEEP] Are We Doing?.... that is for me the big question. The way and the speed at which we are destroying our only home, Mother Earth, is frightening... How much longer can this go on for? What can we do to stop this mindless destruction and instead live sustainably? Think about THAT for while!

WORLD GRAIN STOCKS FALL TO 57 DAYS OF CONSUMPTION

Grain Prices Starting to Rise

Lester R. Brown

This yearÂ’s world grain harvest is projected to fall short of consumption
by 61 million tons, marking the sixth time in the last seven years that
production has failed to satisfy demand. As a result of these shortfalls,
world carryover stocks at the end of this crop year are projected to drop
to 57 days of consumption, the shortest buffer since the 56-day-low in
1972 that triggered a doubling of grain prices.

I will never waste my food...

Dear God, I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I pray that He will protect this little boy, guide and deliver him away from his misery. I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests.

I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us that how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.

Food Fight

But the brave wheat farmers of North Dakota have other plans. So far, and against all odds, they've prevailed.
